We're recruiting for an innovative consultancy specialising in simulation, digital twins, data science and mathematical modelling. They help organisations solve complex operational and strategic challenges through advanced modelling and technology-driven solutions.

They are seeking a Simulation & Digital Twin Consultant with strong AnyLogic experience and ideally 4+ years of relevant simulation modelling experience to join their growing team.

This is a hands-on role where you'll develop sophisticated simulation models, work directly with stakeholders, build supporting data and visualisation capabilities, and take ownership of small-to-medium-sized projects.

The Role

* Design, develop, test and refine high-fidelity simulation models using AnyLogic to solve complex real-world operational problems.
* Translate business challenges and requirements into robust simulation and digital twin solutions.
* Build intuitive user interfaces that allow users to interact with simulation models and scenarios.
* Design and implement data pipelines and relational data models to support simulation applications.
* Create clear and impactful data visualisations and dashboards to communicate model outputs and insights.
* Apply software engineering best practices, including modular development, version control and testing.
* Own the delivery of small-to-medium-sized projects, managing scope, priorities, quality, risks and documentation.
* Work within an agile environment, leading iteration planning and coordinating work across project teams.
* Present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Facilitate workshops, support problem-solving activities and contribute to innovative solution development.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions deliver measurable business value.

Requirements

Essential

* 4+ years' experience in simulation modelling within a commercial, operational or consultancy environment.
* Strong, hands-on AnyLogic experience - this is a key requirement.
* Degree, apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development or Data Science.
* Strong programming skills with experience applying code to solve real-world problems.
* Demonstrable interest in simulation modelling, digital twins and mathematical modelling.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to a range of audiences.
* Experience working within project delivery or agile environments.

Desirable

* Experience with simulation tools such as AnyLogistix, FlexSim, Simio or Simul8.
* Java development experience, particularly within AnyLogic.
* JavaScript and/or ReactJS experience.
* Experience building user interfaces or front-end applications.
* Experience designing data pipelines and relational databases.
* Familiarity with Git, unit testing and software engineering best practices.
* Experience leading workstreams, projects or small delivery teams.
* Consultancy or client-facing experience.
