Our client, a highly esteemed organisation with a distinguished product portfolio, has identified data as one of its top four strategic priorities. The role will integrate into the broader PMO community, contributing to reporting efforts, sharing data, collaborating on best practices, and supporting the dissemination and implementation of process improvements.
The role
• Lead and manage the Delivery Governance and Reporting processes to track key activities, plans, budgets, issues and risks across all of the Data portfolio including 3rd party deliveries
• Tracking of all Data Programme costs to ensure they are in line with the approved spending. Perform variance analysis and implement corrective actions where necessary
• Responsible for creation and maintenance of any purchase orders and invoices across the data portfolio, and a key contact for the AA finance and accounts payables teams
• Play a proactive role in the promotion of project management methods and standards, implementation of good project management practice, and the monitoring of certain projects within the portfolio
• Ensure effective working relationships with the Transformation team, enabling accurate forecasting of Data specific resourcing and costs
• Define and improve financial analysis across the Data Portfolio
What you will need
• Proven experience of operating in a similar role for a minimum of 5 years as a PMO Lead on a major programme or delivery portfolio
• Sound knowledge of programme and project management methodologies
• Insurance/Financial services industry experience preferable
• Experience of leading the implementation of best practise PMO governance and resource management
• Strong communication briefing skills and able to manipulate and manage data into board level dashboards
