Data Operations Project Manager - London/Hybrid - Up to £60,000 - J12759

Candidates must have an existing right to live and work in the UK, as no visa sponsorship available

This Educational Giant is looking for a Data Operations Project Manager to own the delivery of data operations ensuing smooth running and leadership of the strategic data projects. This includes existing and new products they are creating, and research they undertake. As well as managing a large pool of data assistants, both onshore and offshore and ensuring data quality as well as a strong ability to abstract processes, and automate (with assistance from data science and engineering).

Key role responsibilities:

• Manage database, ensuring data accuracy and new source of information is mapped against reputable external sources.
• Manage the data provision of data-provider contacts from the industry and ensure the data is stored, used and compliant with GDPR policies.
• Being responsible for the engagement with clients, and that they are submitting data appropriately, and escalating any issues.
• Hire and manage a team of data assistants/data quality, ensuring they are clear on the work required, and fully utilised as some are contractors and work to GDPR compliance.
• Managing budget and finance, especially the costs concerning data assistants.
• Managing the creation and update of master accounts in Salesforce.
• Ensure access and training to Freshdesk and Salesforce with relevant user permissions to the flexible contractors.

Experience requirements:

Essential:
• Solid management experience of onshore and offshore teams
• Ability to work under pressure, manage your own time and that of your team effectively.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, data cleansing, and reporting.
• Excellent critical thinking and abstract reasoning skills
• Ability to work with complex, highly context-dependent and at times ambiguous requirements
• Experience in process design and planning

Preferred:
• Domain knowledge of higher education, and specifically higher education data
• Project Management experience would be ideal
• Salesforce
