Our client are a SME procurement consultancy looking to grow their analytics offering through the creation of a Junior/ Data Operational Analyst. This role will be working on a new area of their website and will be responsible for adding and maintaining their product catalogues to ensure the website is functional, accurate and up to date. The role will own all product catalogues and will work with their suppliers to maintain these. The Junior/ Data Operational Analyst will be a point of contact for issue resolution and onward triage of issues from users, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
The role requires a highly organised, process driven individual, confident working with large volumes of data, with strong attention to detail and process, and a proven track record in customer service.

Experience of working with Excel is a requirement whilst experience of databases and data visualisation tools is desirable but training can be given.

Primarily home based with one day per week in London Paddington, they are looking for a team member who is eager to learn new skills, who operates with real integrity and who wants to contribute to their rapid growth.

Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to an Insight and Analytics Consultant, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for:
• Maintaining the buying website content, ensuring all product information is accurate and actioning supplier product and price changes in a timely fashion.
• Maintaining the integrity of the data using established product categorisation and processes.
• Supporting the build of the product catalogue for new suppliers throughout the onboarding process.
• Adding new catalogues/ products and improving existing catalogue content in response to client need.
• Analysing, implementing and reporting on supplier price increases; supporting the process of reviewing/agreeing these with Clients.
• Requesting from suppliers monthly consumption reports and ensuring prices listed are the prices being charged by suppliers, supporting monthly reconciliation processes and driving process improvement.
• Supporting the collation and review of user feedback and creating action plans to improve online content.
• Working with Account Managers to ensure client queries are resolved promptly.
• Working as part of the cross-functional team to continuously improve the user experience.

Role Requirements
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and analytical capability.

• Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proven track record of delivering analysis of large volumes of data using MS Excel
• Experience of Power BI desirable but not essential
• Ability to follow and improve process
• Ability to work independently and own deadlines
