Are you a numerically gifted graduate looking to kick-start a career in data analytics?

We're working with a respected client based in Central London, who is looking to grow their analytical team with a bright and motivated Graduate Data Analyst.

If you hold a degree (or master's) in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, or Econometrics, and are passionate about working with data to deliver real-world insights, this could be your ideal first step.

About the Role

This is a full-time, office-based position with excellent transport links. As a Data Analyst, you'll support two core areas:

• Quantification of financial claims
• Identification of legal cases through data analysis

You'll be responsible for collecting, preparing, analysing, and presenting data, transforming raw information into clear, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities

Validate and quality-check datasets received from clients and partners

• Prepare clear, annotated Excel reports with accurate analysis
• Make and justify assumptions when full datasets aren't available
• Deliver comprehensive written reports, including methodologies and conclusions
• Present findings in well-structured, client-ready Word documents

What We're Looking For

• A minimum 2:1 degree in a numerical/applied subject such as MORSE, Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, or Econometrics
• A relevant Master's degree is a strong advantage
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (essential)
• Problem solving skills
• Experience managing large datasets using tools such as SAS, Stata, R, or Python
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working directly with clients and partners to obtain, validate, and interpret data
