Join a high-performing analytics team and make an impact at scale.

If you're an ambitious Data Analyst looking for more than just another reporting role, this could be an opportunity worth exploring.
Our client is a highly successful, globally recognised organisation with an established reputation in its sector and a genuinely exciting data agenda. With analytics playing an increasingly important role in how the business operates and makes decisions, they are investing heavily in their people, technology and capabilities.

You'll join a large, multi-disciplinary Advanced Analytics function that operates almost like an internal consultancy - partnering with teams across the organisation, tackling complex business challenges and delivering insights that genuinely influence decision-making.

This isn't a role where you'll simply be handed a set of requirements and asked to produce a dashboard. You'll be encouraged to ask questions, challenge thinking, uncover opportunities and turn data into meaningful commercial insight.

Why join?

This is an opportunity to become part of a highly successful organisation that puts real investment behind its people and analytics capability.
You'll benefit from:

• Working within a high-profile, established global organisation
• An internal consultancy-style environment, giving you exposure to a huge variety of business areas and challenges
• The opportunity to work alongside experienced Analytics Leads and talented analytical peers
• Exposure to advanced technologies, data and analytical techniques
• Significant opportunities to develop your technical and commercial skillset
• Regular interaction with stakeholders across the wider business, including senior decision-makers
• The chance to work on exciting, high-impact projects rather than simply maintaining BAU reporting
• A strong package of employee benefits, perks and rewards
• A collaborative culture where ideas are encouraged and analytical thinking is genuinely valued
• Hybrid working, with 3 days per week in the Middlesex office

The opportunity

The Advanced Analytics team is headed up by four Analytics Leads, each working across exciting and innovative projects for the wider business.
As a Data Analyst, you'll work closely with one of these Leads and your fellow analysts, becoming a trusted analytical partner to different areas of the organisation.

You'll take complex business questions, understand what the data is telling you and turn that into clear, commercially relevant insight.
You'll have plenty of opportunity to build your stakeholder management skills, present your findings to a broad audience and develop your ability to communicate technical concepts in a way that makes sense to non-technical people.

What you'll be doing

• Partner with core business areas to understand their data, reporting, visualisation and analytical requirements
• Work across a portfolio of dashboards, visualisations and data sources, driving their ongoing development and improvement
• Deliver robust and accurate datasets and visualisations within agreed timescales
• Structure complex problems and develop numerical models to support business decision-making
• Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, bringing people together and gaining buy-in for new ideas and approaches
• Use data to answer critical business questions and uncover meaningful insights
• Apply a range of analytical tools and technologies, including SQL, Tableau, Python and Excel
• Present your findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is naturally curious about data and enjoys understanding the story behind the numbers.

You'll ideally have:

• At least 1 year's experience in a Data Analyst / Analyst position
• Strong SQL skills, alongside experience with Excel and Python (or similar)
• Experience working with large, complex or multiple datasets
• Experience designing and building dashboards and data visualisations, ideally using Tableau
• Experience analysing complex problems and turning findings into clear, actionable insights
• The ability to communicate analytical findings effectively to a broad stakeholder audience
• Experience managing databases and/or blending data from multiple sources
• Experience designing data structures for management information
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• The confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders, including senior audiences
• A creative, solutions-focused approach and a genuine desire to make things better

If you're looking for a role where you can broaden your commercial exposure, work on genuinely interesting problems, develop your technical toolkit and see the impact of your work across a successful global organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
