One of the UK's largest retailers, who are experiencing continued growth, are recruiting for a Graduate Marketing Insight Analyst to join their analytics team.
Certainly a graduate friendly' team who are adept at recruiting, training and developing numerate graduates into great Analysts!
You will support their Marketing teams and the wider business by delivering business critical analysis, allowing the business to practice data led decision making. Achieve this by clear and concise communication of occasionally complex information, suitable for various audiences.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, have good time management, enjoy problem solving and have a cheerful office demeanour.
Principal accountabilities
• Working closely with other members of the Insight team to put the customer at the heart of the business
• Utilise their customer data to generate comprehensive reports and actionable insights
• Develop and manage reporting for their loyalty scheme to optimise customer engagement and programme effectiveness
• Conduct thorough investigations and present clear, evidence based conclusions on diverse business topics
• Provide the Marketing teams with data driven insights into customer behaviour and cross channel metrics
• Offer cross channel support to enhance and optimise the multichannel customer experience
• Stay informed about macro economy, retail and customer trends and leverage these insights to drive the business forward
• Present impactful insight to senior management and Executive leadership
• Refine coding standards and implement advanced techniques to accelerate analytics and enhance code clarity
• Utilise AI to expedite coding and analysis, and provide a starting point for new projects
Person specification
• Strong performance at degree level in a numerate discipline (2.1 or above in mathematics, statistics, physics etc.)
• Applications welcomed at BSc and MSc level
• Advanced spreadsheet and data handling
• Experience, or knowledge of, SQL useful
• Strong analytical and logical problem solving skills
• Confident communication skills
