As a Resourcer your main responsibility is to support the team of Recruitment Consultants by providing a reliable, effective and professional resourcing service.

Candidate Management

  • To create an on going candidate re activation plan and monitoring system to understand its impact and successes.
  • To reactivate candidates that have not been contacted for a while by telephone, letter, email, SMS or mailer, to pass on these candidates to the consultants.
  • To search for appropriate candidates on industry focused websites and to pass these on to the consultants.
  • To provide a customer service role to candidates, so that they are kept informed and the consultants are too.
  • To help with short listing of candidates for specific projects/vacancies.
  • To re match on certain vacancies and create a short list of candidates.
  • To pre register candidates for certain projects.
  • To contact candidates if the consultants have found it difficult to get in touch.
  • To talk to candidates about various roles and job specifications to see if they are interested in being put forward.

Client Research - Information Management

  • Keeping on top of live jobs ensuring clients are kept informed regularly and that the status of positions are updated.
  • Research clients for specific candidate marketing projects
  • Research new clients and record any vacancies from their websites, pass on information to relevant consultants for canvassing.
  • Keep up to date with competitors websites in order to compare what vacancies they have on. Try to determine where these vacancies are.
  • Lead management, to record leads from candidates CVs in order to fill the vacancy when a candidate is placed.
  • Adding all relevant leads to the consultants canvassing tool.
  • To update the system accurately ensuring the database is correct.
  • To investigate and research other fields such as manufacturing, R&D and bench scientists to determine if this could be an area of growth for the division.
