Leading a team of specialist analytics professionals, utilising dynamic tools and digital capabilities that support and challenge business units adding value to the bottom line. To lead this commercially astute decision science team the individual will have:-
•Natural flair to use data and analytics to deliver quantified answers to complicated questions
•Consultative and collaborative approach to be able to communicate effectively across diverse cultures, geographies and technical skill--sets to drive integrated business solutions
•An inquisitive nature, able to autonomously translate the insights gained from challenging the status quo into defined programs of work with a clear delivery focus
•Resilience and ability to thrive amongst a high performing team operating in a fast moving, occasionally pressurised environment
To be successful as a leader and continue to grow their decision science career the following skills/education are essential:-
•A track record working in a data and analytics led, commercially minded organisation
•Literate in industry standard data and analytics tools including Python, SQL, SAS and Excel
•Effective Management and team leadership skills
•Relevant technical skills and experience including, credit risk, statistical modelling and/or relational database environments
•Numerical degree (e.g. mathematics, science, engineering or economics)
