Graduate / Data Insights Analyst - Hybrid Working (2 days/Surrey Office & 3 days/flex home) - £28,000 - £40,000 Negotiable DoE - J12134

We have an exciting opportunity for someone seeking to develop their career within a world leading Financial Services organisation. The Data Insights Analyst develops and maintains both structured and ad-hoc reporting to deliver meaningful business insights, generated from various internal and external data sources. You will use complex datasets from a variety of internal and external sources to design and maintain compelling data visualisations, presentations and dashboards. As an analyst, you will also help to curate the analytics marketplace with useful reusable insights for anyone across the business.

This could suite either a fresh' graduate demonstrating the aptitude or an experienced Analyst looking for their next career move - great training and development prospects for either level.

What you will be doing
• Provides re-usable patterns to enable business functions to transition current business insight use cases onto PowerBI / Excel
• Creatively experimenting and iterating with new ideas and techniques to push the edge of what is possible in data visualisation, striving for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the wider Data and Analytics Hub teams as well as business functions regarding data visualisation activities such as dashboard support.
• Extracting and manipulating data to provide business insight using tools such as Databricks, Python, PySpark, SAS and SQL.

• Strong Degree performance in a numerical subject (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics etc.)
• Significant experience in, or aptitude to learn, developing business insight outputs
• Strong logical problem solving and storytelling from data ability
• Some experience with analytical and cloud technologies and tools such as Azure or GCP benefits but not essential
• Coding experience in languages such as SAS, SQL, Python
• Data visualisation knowledge in Tableau and/or PowerBI useful but not essential
